Roar Global’s BrandRadar Launches Sri Lanka’s Most Comprehensive AI Visibility Study
BrandRadar, the AI Search growth consultancy and intelligence platform of Roar Global, has released “The State of AI Visibility in Sri Lanka 2026”, the country’s most extensive index tracking how brands are discovered, mentioned, and recommended across leading artificial intelligence platforms including ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity.

The groundbreaking report analyses 198 brands across 18 market segments, spanning six key industries including automotive, hospitality, financial services, real estate, and retail. Conducted between March and May 2026, the study provides one of Sri Lanka’s most detailed insights into how AI-powered search and recommendation systems are transforming the way consumers discover and interact with brands.

The report follows the official introduction of BrandRadar at Roar Global’s inaugural AI Visibility Summit in Colombo, where the company presented its vision of helping businesses understand, improve, and maintain their visibility in rapidly evolving AI-driven discovery environments.

Commenting on the launch, Mustafa Kassim, Founder and CEO of Roar Global, said, “This report represents the type of market intelligence we aim to develop at Roar Global. As a venture builder working across platforms, AI infrastructure, and enterprise solutions, we are exploring a fundamental shift in how brands are discovered. Discovery is no longer limited to search engines, social media platforms, or paid advertising. AI is becoming a critical layer through which businesses will need to build visibility, trust, and sustainable growth.”

The study highlights significant differences in how brands perform across various AI platforms. According to the findings, Toyota and BYD achieved exceptional consistency across ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity, maintaining scores above 89 throughout the study period with minimal variation.

However, the research also revealed that strong visibility on one AI platform does not always guarantee visibility across others. For example, Ceylinco General Insurance recorded a score of 89.75 on Google Gemini while achieving only 12.5 on Perplexity during the same period, demonstrating the fragmented nature of AI-driven brand discovery.

One of the report’s key findings is that editorial authority and third-party references are among the strongest drivers of AI visibility across industries. The findings emphasise the growing importance of credible online information, structured content strategies, and long-term digital authority as brands compete for recognition within AI-generated recommendations.

Speaking on the development of BrandRadar, Prash Balakrishnan, Chief Commercial Officer of Roar Global, said, “This report is the outcome of continuous research and product development carried out by the BrandRadar team over the past year. Our goal has been to create an AI search growth solution that delivers both technical depth and commercial value for businesses. As AI-led discovery continues to expand, organisations need clear insights into where they are visible, where opportunities exist, and what steps can strengthen their authority across these platforms.”

Through BrandRadar, Roar Global aims to help businesses navigate the next generation of digital discovery by providing actionable intelligence on AI visibility, brand authority, and growth opportunities in an increasingly AI-powered marketplace.
