Jazeera Airways, Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier, has announced an increase in flight frequencies to Egypt, strengthening connectivity between Kuwait and one of its most important international travel markets.
The airline has added 16 weekly flights to Sharm El Sheikh, Alexandria, Sohag and Hurghada, bringing its total number of direct weekly flights from Kuwait to Egypt to 126. The expanded network also includes Cairo, Sphinx, Assiut and Luxor, providing passengers with direct access to several key destinations across the country.
Kuwait is home to one of the largest Egyptian expatriate communities, contributing to consistently strong year-round travel demand between the two countries. In response, Jazeera Airways has continued to expand its Egypt network in recent years, serving an increasing number of destinations across the country.
The additional services provide passengers with greater flexibility and convenience when travelling for family visits, business, employment, education and tourism. The expanded schedule also strengthens travel options for both leisure passengers and those visiting friends and relatives.
Commenting on the expansion, Paul Carroll, Chief Commercial Officer of Jazeera Airways, said, “Egypt remains one of the most important markets in our network, with consistently strong demand from both leisure and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) travellers. By increasing frequencies to Sharm El Sheikh, Alexandria, Sohag and Hurghada, we are giving our customers greater flexibility, more travel choices, and increased connectivity between Kuwait and key destinations across Egypt. These additional services reflect our continued commitment to investing in markets with high demand and supporting the longstanding ties between our two countries.”
The expanded Egypt schedule reinforces Jazeera Airways’ strategy of responding to passenger demand while strengthening connectivity between Kuwait and key regional destinations.
