Autobahn Traders (Pvt) Ltd, a well-established name in the import and distribution of brand-new BMW vehicle spare parts, has adopted a digital-first transformation strategy aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and delivering improved customer service to fleet owners as well as individual customers in this specialist segment.
Now in its eighth year as a trusted partner in automotive spare parts, the company has successfully completed a rapid, one-year rollout of the Odoo ERP system. This implementation strengthens efficiency and inventory accuracy—key pillars in supporting BMW workshops, garage operators, and BMW vehicle enthusiasts. The company sources parts through authorised channels from global markets including Germany, the UK, Turkey, Singapore, India, China, and Malaysia.
“Our strategy to pursue a digital-first transformation reflects our commitment to consistently deliver the best possible service to our customers,” said Ushlah Aluthge, Operations Director of Autobahn Traders. “Given the complexity of automotive spare parts, real-time and accurate part identification, availability, and competitive pricing are extremely important in our line of business. The ERP system has been critical in maintaining our service standards during a period of growth.”
Managing Director Hasith Senarathne noted that, in order to further enhance process efficiency and productivity, the company will implement the 5S methodology within the next three months while also progressing towards ISO certification for quality excellence.
He further emphasised that Autobahn Traders remains focused on technology, leadership, and sustainable growth. The leadership highlighted that strong commitment and direction enabled the successful ERP deployment and continued business expansion.
The company also maintains a 99.9% female workforce, reflecting its commitment to women’s empowerment, while actively investing in continuous staff development to support its future growth trajectory.
