Xiaomi has officially opened pre-orders for the REDMI Note 17 Series in Malaysia, introducing four models: the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G, REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G, REDMI Note 17 5G and REDMI Note 17.
The latest lineup focuses heavily on battery longevity, durability and display quality, with flagship features including batteries of up to 10,000mAh, 1.5K 120Hz displays and IP69K water and dust resistance.
Customers can place a pre-order with a RM100 deposit until September 4, 2026, with offers including discounts of up to RM300 and free gifts worth up to RM4,321.
Built for Long-Term Battery Life
The REDMI Note 17 Series is designed around long-lasting battery performance, with advanced silicon-carbon battery technology engineered to retain up to 80% of its capacity after six years of use.
Leading the range, the REDMI Note 17 Pro Max 5G features a massive 10,000mAh battery with support for 100W HyperCharge and 27W reverse charging. The device also supports Xiaomi HyperAI for a range of AI-powered features.
The REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G comes with an 8,340mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging.
Both Pro models feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K CrystalRes AMOLED display with up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, a 3,200Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
Meanwhile, the standard REDMI Note 17 5G and REDMI Note 17 feature larger 6.99-inch displays with a 120Hz refresh rate. Both models are equipped with 7,700mAh batteries and support 45W Turbo Charging.
Enhanced Durability and Water Resistance
Durability has also received a major upgrade across the lineup. The Pro models have earned a TÜV SÜD 5-Star Titan Quality rating and are designed to withstand drops from heights of up to three metres onto granite surfaces.
They also offer IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K water and dust resistance, along with a dedicated Underwater Mode.
The standard REDMI Note 17 5G and REDMI Note 17 feature IP65 protection and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Snapdragon Performance and AI Features
Snapdragon processors power the REDMI Note 17 Series, with the higher-end models also integrating Xiaomi HyperAI and Google Gemini capabilities.

The Galaxy S26 FE features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display and comes with storage configurations ranging from 8GB RAM with 128GB storage to 8GB RAM with 512GB storage.
Upgraded Camera and Display
The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP telephoto camera.
Samsung has upgraded the camera experience with enhanced Nightography capabilities for improved low-light photography. The device also introduces features such as Horizontal Lock for more stable video recording and My FanCam tools aimed at content creators.
The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is designed to provide a vibrant viewing experience while complementing the phone's multimedia and content creation capabilities.
Galaxy AI and Agentic AI Features
The Galaxy S26 FE also places a strong focus on AI. Users get access to Samsung’s full native Galaxy AI suite, alongside newer Agentic AI features including Now Brief and Now Nudge.
