The smartphone features a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, a 50MP main camera and a 6000mAh battery. While Xiaomi has yet to announce a Malaysia launch date, the device could make its way to the market in the near future.

The REDMI 17C 5G comes with a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD panel offering a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It also supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate and peak brightness of up to 810 nits under HBM conditions.
For eye comfort, the display has received three TÜV Rheinland certifications covering Low Blue Light, Flicker Free and Circadian Friendly standards. It also features Wet Touch Technology 2.0 for improved touch responsiveness when the screen or fingers are wet.
Dimensity 6300 and Expandable Storage
Powering the device is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6nm process and paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The Singapore model comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM, with support for up to 8GB of RAM expansion, and storage options of 64GB or 128GB using UFS 2.2. Storage can also be expanded by up to 1TB through a dedicated microSD card slot.

For photography, the REDMI 17C 5G features a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 5P lens, accompanied by an auxiliary sensor. An 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.
The smartphone is powered by a large 6000mAh battery with support for 33W turbo charging. However, the device comes with a 15W power adapter included in the box.
Other features include IP64 dust and splash resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, AI face unlock, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a 200% volume boost mode.
