John Keells Properties has officially unveiled the show apartment for its VIMAN Ja-Ela development, offering prospective homeowners the opportunity to experience first-hand the lifestyle envisioned for this thoughtfully designed suburban community.

Constructed at the project site, the fully furnished show apartment allows visitors to walk through an actual VIMAN Ja-Ela residence, providing an authentic sense of the home's layout, proportions, finishes, and quality. The immersive experience enables prospective buyers to appreciate the development's carefully planned living spaces, where modern comfort seamlessly blends with nature and contemporary design.

Nestled in the heart of Ja-Ela, VIMAN has been thoughtfully conceived as more than just a residential development—it is designed to foster a vibrant community centred on comfort, connectivity, and everyday living. Spanning six acres, with over 60% of the land dedicated to landscaped green and open spaces, the development places nature and community at the heart of the residential experience.

Residents will enjoy an extensive range of lifestyle amenities, including a clubhouse, swimming pool, fully equipped gymnasium, walking and cycling paths, children's play areas, and beautifully designed outdoor social spaces. Adding to its unique character is the Ambalama, a communal gathering space inspired by Sri Lankan heritage, providing residents with a welcoming place to meet, relax, and build meaningful neighbourhood connections.

Commenting on the launch, Nadeem Shums, Head of Sales and Marketing and Vice President of John Keells Group, said, "We're delighted to open the doors to our show apartment and invite prospective homeowners to experience VIMAN Ja-Ela first-hand. While we can describe the lifestyle we've envisioned, nothing compares to walking through the space, appreciating the thoughtful design, and experiencing the quality for yourself. We believe the show apartment truly brings the VIMAN vision to life."

Developed by John Keells Properties, VIMAN Ja-Ela represents a new chapter in modern suburban living, where contemporary architecture, everyday convenience, and a strong sense of community come together in a meticulously planned environment. Located just four kilometres from the Ja-Ela Interchange of the Colombo–Katunayake Expressway, the development offers the perfect balance between tranquil surroundings and seamless connectivity to Colombo, the international airport, and other key destinations.

With the opening of the on-site show apartment, prospective buyers can now gain a realistic understanding of the residences' design, craftsmanship, and functionality while experiencing the lifestyle that awaits within one of Sri Lanka's most thoughtfully planned residential communities.

His captaincy reflects the qualities of accountability, perseverance, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

Also joining the Foundation is Khalid Osman, a triathlete, Ironman 70.3 competitor, and Resilience Ambassador whose extraordinary story has inspired many. His remarkable achievements include competing in endurance events and marathons across Paris, Singapore, Japan, Jordan, and Sri Lanka.

Reflecting on his journey, Khalid said, "I don't compete despite my challenges. I compete because of them."

The Foundation also welcomes Darren Sonal Tranchell, one of Sri Lanka's promising young rowing talents. Competing successfully across multiple junior and open categories at both national and international levels, Sonal has earned recognition for his discipline, consistency, and dedication to continuous improvement. By supporting him at this pivotal stage of his career, the Foundation aims to help unlock his full potential as he continues his journey towards sporting excellence.
