Samsung Sri Lanka has introduced the latest additions to its Galaxy A series with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, expanding its lineup of mid-range smartphones in the country.
Designed to deliver strong performance, intelligent features, and long-term reliability, the new devices aim to make advanced mobile technology more accessible to everyday users.
At the core of both smartphones is Samsung’s enhanced AI suite, Awesome Intelligence, integrated into One UI 8.5. The system introduces a more intuitive user experience across productivity, creativity, and entertainment.
A key feature is the upgraded Voice Transcription tool, which converts audio recordings into text in real time—ideal for meetings, lectures, and note-taking. AI Select further enhances usability by allowing users to interact with on-screen content, extract text, edit images, and move elements across applications through simple gestures, enabling smoother multitasking.
Photography capabilities also see notable improvements. Both devices feature a triple-camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor, designed to deliver clear and detailed images across varying lighting conditions.
The Galaxy A57 5G further enhances imaging performance with improved processing speed and faster shutter response, ensuring sharper capture of fast-moving moments. AI-powered tools such as Object Eraser and Best Face allow users to refine images effortlessly, turning everyday photos into polished results without advanced editing skills.
In terms of performance, the Galaxy A57 5G features upgraded CPU, GPU, and NPU components for smoother streaming, faster multitasking, and improved gaming performance. Despite its slim design, it is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery supporting up to two days of usage, along with Super Fast Charging for quick power top-ups.
Durability remains a key focus, with both models featuring IP68-rated water and dust resistance, making them suitable for everyday environments including rain and dusty conditions.
Samsung also continues its commitment to long-term software support, offering up to six generations of Android OS and One UI upgrades, along with six years of security updates.
Commenting on the launch, SangHwa Song, Managing Director of Samsung Sri Lanka, said the new devices reflect the company’s commitment to bringing meaningful AI-powered innovation to more Sri Lankan consumers, enabling smarter and more intuitive mobile experiences.
