Hikvision Sri Lanka successfully hosted the Shaping Intelligence – Smart Building Summit 2026, bringing together industry leaders, technology experts, consultants, and key decision-makers to showcase how Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) technologies are transforming the future of smart buildings.

The summit served as a platform to demonstrate how AIoT-powered solutions are enabling smarter, safer, and more sustainable building operations through enhanced security, intelligent facility management, improved operational efficiency, and integrated building ecosystems.

The event attracted 157 participants, reflecting growing interest in smart building technologies across Sri Lanka. Attendees represented a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, construction, real estate, property and facility management, architecture, consultancy, and system integration.

Throughout the programme, experts shared insights into emerging trends in smart buildings, AI-driven building management, and the increasing demand for connected infrastructure capable of improving operational performance while creating secure and sustainable environments.

The summit also provided opportunities for participants to engage with industry professionals, technology specialists, consultants, and system integrators, encouraging knowledge sharing and collaboration on the future of intelligent buildings in Sri Lanka.

As part of the exhibition, Hikvision showcased its comprehensive portfolio of AIoT-powered solutions designed for commercial buildings, industrial facilities, educational institutions, healthcare organisations, and public sector infrastructure.

The technology showcase featured intelligent video surveillance systems, advanced access control solutions including smart door locks, turnstiles, and barrier gates, parking management systems, fire alarm solutions, and integrated facility management platforms.

Visitors also explored Hikvision’s latest smart display technologies, including LED displays, digital signage, and interactive smart boards, alongside professional audio and public address systems. In addition, the exhibition highlighted security inspection solutions such as X-ray baggage scanners and walk-through metal detectors, demonstrating Hikvision’s end-to-end capabilities in delivering intelligent, connected, and secure building environments.
