How to check if your iPhone is eligible for Apple Intelligence settlement money
As of May 12, the claims process for Apple’s proposed Siri settlement related to delayed Apple Intelligence features has not yet opened.
According to court filings in Landsheft v. Apple Inc., the proposed settlement outlines potential eligibility, covered iPhone models, required information, and the timeline for when claims may begin. It applies to certain U.S. customers who purchased eligible devices, including iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models, between June 10, 2024 and March 29, 2025.
The proposed payout is estimated at around $25 per eligible device, although the final amount may change depending on the number of approved claims. Payments are capped at $95 per device.
Claims process not yet active
Eligible users cannot file a claim at this stage. The settlement still requires preliminary approval before an official claims website and submission process can be launched.
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California is scheduled to review preliminary approval on June 17, 2026. If approved, the settlement administrator will begin notifying eligible users and opening the claims process.
Beware of fake claims
Users are advised to avoid unofficial websites, social media posts, or advertisements claiming immediate payouts. Court documents state that the official settlement portal will provide claim forms, instructions, FAQs, and details on opting out or objecting.
