Google has updated its Google AI subscription plans, increasing storage to 400GB as part of its latest offering. While the company has announced price reductions in several markets, the revised pricing has yet to take effect in Malaysia, making the update particularly notable for local users.

Previously, the Google AI Plus plan in Malaysia offered 200GB of storage with family sharing options, along with access to Gemini AI features, priced at RM23.99 per month. Alongside this tier, Google also offers the AI Pro plan at RM97.99 per month and the AI Ultra plan at RM1,229.90 per month.

The upgraded AI Plus plan is positioned as a practical option for everyday users and casual content creators, offering expanded cloud storage alongside AI-powered tools for productivity and creativity.

However, there are currently no further official details regarding additional changes to the subscription structure in Malaysia. Users are advised to await further announcements from Google regarding regional pricing adjustments and feature rollouts.
Google Health Coach now available in Malaysia
Google has announced that its updated Google Health Coach feature is now available in Malaysia. Powered by Gemini, the service integrates with the Google Health app to provide fitness, sleep, and nutrition tracking along with personalised health recommendations.

The AI-powered system is designed to function as a dynamic health advisor, adjusting workout suggestions based on user data as well as real-time factors such as location and weather. For example, it can recommend alternative routines when conditions are too hot or rainy for outdoor exercise.

The feature will roll out locally through the existing Fitbit app, while Google Fit users are expected to be migrated later this year. Users will also be able to generate workout sessions or track nutrition simply by uploading photos.

Google Health Coach will be available under the Google Health Premium subscription priced at $9.99 per month (approximately RM40.65). However, subscribers to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra plans will receive access at no additional cost. Google has also confirmed that health and exercise data will not be used for advertising purposes.

The launch reflects Google’s growing push into AI-driven personal wellness tools, offering users more adaptive and data-driven health management options.
