GIGABYTE has introduced the AERO X16, a slim and portable laptop designed for students and content creators who require high-performance computing for tasks such as 4K video editing, rendering, and design work. Weighing just 1.9kg and measuring 16.7mm in thickness, the device combines portability with a minimalist design suited for both campus use and project presentations.
Powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor paired with an NVIDIA RTX 5070 GPU, the AERO X16 delivers strong performance for demanding creative workflows, including advanced rendering and AI-assisted tasks. It also features an integrated XDNA NPU offering up to 50 TOPS, alongside NVIDIA Blackwell architecture delivering up to 798 AI TOPS for accelerated AI workloads.
For creative professionals and design students, the 16-inch WQXGA display (2560 x 1600 resolution) with a 16:10 aspect ratio is factory pre-calibrated and Pantone Validated, ensuring accurate colour reproduction. The screen also supports a 165Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time for smoother visuals and responsiveness.
Thermal performance is managed by GIGABYTE’s WINDFORCE Infinity Cooling system, which uses dual 12V high-efficiency fans and a 3D VortX airflow design to maintain low noise levels of around 30 dB during operation.
The laptop also integrates GIGABYTE’s AI assistant, GiMATE, which enables on-device AI functions and voice-controlled “Press and Speak” features, allowing users to switch between Creator, Power Saving, and Meeting modes seamlessly.
