Sony Malaysia has introduced three new headphones—the WH-1000XM4C, WH-CH730N and WH-CH530—covering flagship, mid-range and entry-level segments.

The premium WH-1000XM4C is available for RM 1,099, down from its RM 1,399 recommended retail price. Sony is also offering a promotional RM 50 Touch 'n Go eWallet credit for purchases made between 8 September and 4 October 2026.

The mid-range WH-CH730N is priced at RM 599, compared with its RM 649 RRP. It features a foldable design and delivers up to 50 hours of battery life. Meanwhile, the more affordable WH-CH530 costs RM 229, with a claimed battery life of up to 55 hours.

Features Across the New Lineup

At the top of the range, the WH-1000XM4C comes equipped with Sony's renowned 1000X Series active noise cancellation, along with custom audio tuning.

The headphones feature a lightweight, foldable 253 g design and provide up to 27 hours of continuous playback with noise cancellation enabled.

The WH-CH730N sits between the flagship and entry-level models, offering active noise cancellation powered by Dual Noise Sensor technology.

Weighing 207 g, the headphones feature a foldable design and can provide up to 50 hours of playback even with noise cancellation switched on.

Completing the lineup, the entry-level WH-CH530 focuses on lightweight comfort for everyday listening. It includes AI-based noise reduction for clearer calls, Multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, and up to 55 hours of battery life.

A quick-charge feature also provides additional listening time when you're in a hurry.
Volvo Launches Flagship EX90 Electric SUV in Malaysia From RM 428,888
Volvo Car Malaysia has officially launched its flagship seven-seat electric SUV, the locally assembled Volvo EX90, with prices starting from RM 428,888. The new EV comes with an upgraded 800V electrical architecture, a Twin Motor AWD powertrain producing 680 hp and 870 Nm, and an estimated driving range of up to 617 km on a single charge.

Customers who are among the first 100 to place their bookings from 8 September 2026 can receive an RM 25,000 cash rebate, along with a complimentary Volvo Wallbox valued at RM 3,990.

Faster Charging With 800V Technology

The EX90's upgraded 800V architecture supports DC fast charging at speeds of up to 350kW, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes.

Powering the vehicle's advanced computing systems is NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Orin, working alongside Volvo's proprietary Superset technology stack. This setup is designed to support faster and more frequent over-the-air software updates while improving the vehicle's digital capabilities.

Safety remains a major focus, with Volvo's Safe Space Technology combining exterior radar and ultrasonic sensors with interior infrared and submillimetre radar systems. These technologies are designed to monitor the driver's attention while also detecting passenger movement inside the cabin.

The EX90 also comes equipped with Pilot Assist and Park Pilot Assist for enhanced driving and parking assistance.

Inside the cabin, drivers and passengers get access to built-in Google services through a 9-inch driver display, 14.5-inch central touchscreen, and head-up display. Other premium features include a Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity Audio System, an electrochromic glass roof, and a choice of two Nappa leather interior options.

2027 Volvo ES90 Updates

Alongside the EX90 launch, Volvo Car Malaysia also announced several updates for the 2027 model year Volvo ES90 electric saloon.

The refreshed model gains new exterior color options, including Mulberry and Aurora Silver, as well as 21-inch Glossy-Silver wheels and wireless Android Auto support.

Customers who book the ES90 from September 2026 can also benefit from cash rebates of up to RM 17,600, adding further value to Volvo's expanding electric vehicle lineup in Malaysia.
