TECNO has introduced the POVA 8 Pro 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, bringing together performance-focused hardware and distinctive Italian-inspired luxury styling. The special edition features a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, a 6,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C OIS main camera.

TECNO has not yet announced Malaysian pricing or an official local release date. However, given its premium limited-edition positioning, it is expected to cost more than the standard POVA 8 Pro.

A mid-range smartphone with Tonino Lamborghini styling

Developed in collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini, the limited-edition smartphone comes in a distinctive Tonino Lamborghini Black finish, complemented by internal mirror-like light refractions and a signature Alive Matrix Display featuring a customised “L” lighting effect.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate 5G chipset, paired with a dedicated P1 Graphic Chip designed to support high-frame-rate gaming of up to 144fps. Cooling is handled by TECNO’s 5K IceShield VC Cooling System, featuring a 5,000mm˛ vapour chamber with direct copper contact to the CPU.

The smartphone runs HiOS 16 based on Android 16, with a customised Tonino Lamborghini-themed interface, including black-and-red UI elements, bespoke icons and ringtones. It also features IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K-rated protection, along with a customisable physical One-Tap Button.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Now Available for as Low as RM11.55 in Merdeka and Malaysia Day Deal
Samsung Malaysia is offering a major Merdeka and Malaysia Day promotion on the Galaxy Ring, cutting its retail price by 45% until 30 September 2026. The promotion reduces the original RM2,099 price to RM1,154.45, giving buyers total savings of RM944.55.

For Samsung Rewards members, the deal gets even more attractive. Members can redeem their accumulated points to offset up to 99% of the discounted price, with a maximum deduction of RM1,142.90. This brings the final price down to just RM11.55.

Samsung Galaxy Ring Merdeka and Malaysia Day Deal

The promotion is available exclusively through Samsung.com and the Samsung Shop App. Samsung Rewards members can check their available points through the Samsung Wallet app before making their purchase.

Despite its compact, display-free design, the Samsung Galaxy Ring is capable of tracking a range of daily health metrics, offering many of the health-monitoring features found on Samsung's other wearable devices.

However, Samsung notes that stocks for different ring sizes are limited, so availability may vary throughout the promotion period.

As display-free smart bands and wearables continue to gain popularity among users looking for a more distraction-free experience, the Galaxy Ring offers a lighter and more discreet alternative to a traditional smartwatch.
