Amazon has dropped the prices of five 4K monitors to as little as $170.99 as part of its Prime Big Deal sale, giving shoppers an opportunity to upgrade their Mac setup without spending as much as they normally would.
The Prime-exclusive offers range from 19% to 32% below the monitors' listed prices. While all five models share a 4K resolution, their differences become more apparent when you look at display size, refresh rate, panel technology, stand flexibility and connectivity.
Samsung has the lowest-priced option, while ASUS offers a larger IPS display for only a few dollars more. Dell targets users who want a higher 120Hz refresh rate, KTC emphasizes ergonomic adjustment, and LG stands out for its broader laptop connectivity options.
ASUS VP327Q
The ASUS VP327Q is currently priced at $179, representing a 28% reduction from its $249 list price. Spending an additional $8 compared with Samsung's model gets you a significantly larger 31.5-inch 4K IPS display instead of a 27-inch screen.
ASUS claims the monitor covers 99% of the sRGB color space, while HDR10 and Adaptive-Sync support are also included. For connectivity, the display provides two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort connection.
The VP327Q also comes with built-in stereo speakers, which can be useful for basic audio without requiring a separate speaker system.
For users who want to mount the display, the monitor supports VESA mounting. ASUS also includes flicker-free technology and a low-blue-light mode.
The main limitation is the supplied stand. It only provides tilt adjustment, so users who need to change the monitor's height or swivel it into different positions may want to pair the display with a compatible monitor arm.
Dell S2725QS
The Dell S2725QS is available for $229.99, a 23% reduction from its regular $299.99 price. It features a 27-inch 4K IPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate, giving it twice the refresh rate offered by the 60Hz Samsung and KTC models.
The higher refresh rate is paired with AMD FreeSync Premium, 99% sRGB coverage, a rated brightness of 350 nits and a 1,500:1 contrast ratio. These specifications make the S2725QS a more capable choice for gaming, while the 120Hz panel also provides noticeably smoother scrolling, animations and general interface movement when connected to a Mac.
Dell also gives the monitor a more versatile stand than some of the cheaper alternatives. It supports height adjustment, swivel and pivot positioning, allowing users to find a more comfortable viewing angle without needing an additional monitor arm.
Built-in speakers are included as well, providing basic audio directly from the display.
With its adjustable stand, integrated speakers and faster refresh rate, the S2725QS offers a more complete out-of-the-box package than the lower-priced Samsung and ASUS options.

The Book Cover Keyboard Slim also adds a dedicated AI Key, giving users quick access to Gemini, Perplexity or Bixby. Users can also save information gathered during research directly into Samsung Notes, making it easier to organise content and continue working without switching between multiple apps.
For users working across devices, Second Screen mode allows the tablet to function as an additional display for compatible Windows laptops. Students can also use apps such as Notability to transcribe recorded lectures, helping turn classroom recordings into searchable notes.
Each purchase comes with a complimentary S Pen and Book Cover Keyboard Slim, with the included accessories valued at up to RM1,208.
