People’s Bank recently held its ‘YES Cash Carnival Draw’, rewarding 25 lucky customers with cash prizes. The draw ceremony took place at People’s Tower in Colombo 02.
The promotion was open to YES Savings Account holders who maintained a minimum balance of Rs. 50,000 between August 12 and September 30, 2025, and continued to maintain the required balance until December 31, 2025.
The draw was attended by several senior officials of People’s Bank, including Deputy General Manager (Recoveries) Naleen Pathiranage, Deputy General Manager (Retail Banking) A.U.A. Anzar, Assistant General Manager (Retail Banking) A. Jayaasith and Senior Internal Audit Officer R.M.A.K. Rajaguru, along with other bank officials.
The initiative reflects People’s Bank’s efforts to engage and reward its YES Savings customers through promotional campaigns and customer-focused initiatives.
olombo Stock Exchange Receives ‘Great Place to Work’ Certification
The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has been awarded the ‘Great Place to Work’ Certification for the fifth consecutive year, recognising its continued efforts to foster an inclusive, supportive and safe workplace environment.
The CSE has received the certification annually since 2022, reflecting its ongoing focus on building a workplace culture centred on employee wellbeing, inclusion and collaboration.
Commenting on the recognition, CSE CEO Rajeeva Bandaranaike said the organisation’s employees remain a key strength of the institution.

Receiving the Great Place to Work Certification for the fifth consecutive year is a meaningful recognition of our commitment to creating a workplace culture founded on trust, respect and collaboration. It is an achievement shared by every member of the CSE team and reflects the passion, commitment and teamwork that continue to drive our success,” he said.
The certification was presented by Great Place to Work, a global organisation that provides workplace recognition across more than 180 countries and regions, representing over 20 million employees and 22,000 organisations worldwide.
The recognition was based on an anonymous, company-wide employee survey assessing workplace culture across five key areas: credibility, respect, fairness, pride and camaraderie.
The latest certification also highlights the CSE’s commitment to its core values of professionalism, integrity, care, teamwork, passion and agility. The organisation said its focus on equity and inclusion has contributed to creating a workplace culture designed to provide equal opportunities for employees.
The CSE is also an equal opportunity employer and a signatory to the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles, while collaborating with initiatives including the UN Global Compact and Respectful Workplaces to further support diversity, inclusion and positive workplace practices.
