Wire Group Launches Intel Wire to Strengthen Business Intelligence Services
Wire Communications Consultancy Holdings Group (WCCG) has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Intel Wire, a dedicated strategic intelligence business unit designed to help organisations strengthen risk management, protect corporate reputation and make informed business decisions.

The new business unit introduces a proprietary Crisis Intelligence and Reputation Advisory Framework, enabling organisations to identify emerging risks, monitor stakeholder sentiment in real time and respond proactively to evolving operational and reputational challenges.

Leading Intel Wire is Kavinthan Shamugarajah, Associate Director of Research & Intelligence, who brings more than two decades of experience in research, strategic intelligence and communications advisory. He heads a team of experienced specialists with expertise in in-depth research, sentiment analysis and data interpretation, combining local market knowledge with advanced risk mapping techniques to deliver actionable insights for corporate leadership.

The launch comes at a time when businesses are increasingly challenged by fast-moving digital narratives that spread rapidly across online platforms, traditional media and social networks, often impacting corporate reputation before organisations have an opportunity to respond.

Recognising the limitations of traditional reputation management approaches in today’s fragmented communications landscape, Intel Wire focuses on transforming complex data into strategic intelligence that supports faster decision-making and strengthens stakeholder confidence. The business unit will also collaborate with leading research organisations to help clients better understand emerging risks and safeguard their reputational capital.

Commenting on the launch, Ashan Kumar, Chairperson of Wire Group, said reputation is increasingly shaped in real time, making early detection and informed decision-making critical for organisations.

He noted that the Crisis Intelligence and Reputation Advisory Framework has been developed to help businesses anticipate risks more effectively while protecting long-term stakeholder trust.

Beyond crisis and reputation management, Intel Wire will also provide broader corporate intelligence services to support executive leadership in strategic planning and business decision-making.

Speaking on the new initiative, Kavinthan Shamugarajah, Associate Director of Research & Intelligence and Head of Intel Wire, said organisations today require more than access to information—they need meaningful insights that support confident decision-making.

He added that Intel Wire is focused on analysing complex information and converting it into clear, actionable intelligence that enables organisations to respond effectively to an increasingly dynamic business environment.
