Sri Lankan AI Startup sixn.ai Wins at Asia’s Largest AI Hackathon, Elevating Sri Lanka’s Global AI Presence
Sri Lankan Agentic AI studio sixn.ai has achieved international recognition after securing a place among the Top 5 teams at the SuperAI NEXT Hackathon 2026 in Singapore and winning the Best Use of Stripe Award for its AI-powered fashion companion, Bloom.
The achievement marks a major milestone for both sixn.ai and Sri Lanka’s growing artificial intelligence ecosystem, placing the country on the global map for Agentic AI innovation. Competing against 700 applicants, 80 teams, and participants from 26 countries, sixn.ai was the only Sri Lankan company to earn a place in the overall Top 5 at one of Asia’s largest and most competitive AI hackathons.
Held as part of SuperAI 2026, one of Asia’s premier artificial intelligence conferences, the SuperAI NEXT Hackathon brings together AI entrepreneurs, researchers, investors, developers, and technology innovators from around the world. The competition challenges participants to develop innovative AI solutions within a limited timeframe, highlighting cutting-edge applications of emerging technologies.
During the intensive 36-hour hackathon, sixn.ai developed Bloom, an AI-powered fashion companion designed to demonstrate the capabilities of Agentic AI. The solution enables intelligent AI agents to understand user intent, coordinate multiple tasks, and deliver seamless commerce experiences through autonomous decision-making and workflow execution.
The project reflects sixn.ai’s broader vision of building AI systems that go beyond traditional virtual assistants. Rather than simply responding to user requests, the company aims to develop intelligent agents capable of understanding business contexts, collaborating across workflows, and independently executing complex tasks to generate measurable business outcomes.
