Binance has introduced Agent OS, a developer platform and standardised access layer designed to connect AI applications with Binance’s trading, market data, wallet, payment and on-chain capabilities across cryptocurrency and traditional markets.

Developed as part of Binance Intelligence, the company’s strategic initiative focused on AI-powered products and experiences, Agent OS provides AI developers, fintech teams and quantitative traders with a controlled foundation for building applications and AI agents that can interact with Binance’s financial infrastructure. The platform supports both pre-built integrations and custom AI agents.

Through supported AI development tools including ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, users can authorise agents to access market data, view account information and execute supported trading activities, subject to the permissions and limits they configure. Users can also assign individual agents to dedicated subaccounts, enabling them to separate funds and trading activities.

“Binance Agent OS addresses the fragmentation developers face when building agentic finance applications across crypto and traditional markets,” said Jeff Li, VP of Product at Binance. “It gives everyone from developers to quantitative traders the reliable data, low-latency infrastructure, and standardised interfaces they need to deploy AI-driven strategies.”

A Standardised Developer Layer

Agent OS brings together Binance APIs, the Binance Wallet Agentic Hub, Binance x402 for programmable payments, Binance Skill Hub and newly introduced support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

By combining these capabilities within a unified developer layer, Agent OS provides developers with the tools and infrastructure required to build connected financial applications and AI agents capable of interacting with a range of financial services.
Nithyakalyani Jewellery Marks 10 Consecutive Years of Blood Donation
Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery has successfully conducted its annual blood donation campaign for the 10th consecutive year, in collaboration with Rotary Colombo East, reaffirming its longstanding commitment to community wellbeing and humanitarian initiatives.

Held on August 16 at the Nithyakalyani Jewellery premises, the campaign brought together donors, volunteers and supporters in a collective effort to contribute to the country’s blood supply. Conducted under the theme ‘Let’s Donate Blood – #BeAHero’, the initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and encourage more people to help save lives.

The 2026 campaign marked a significant milestone for Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery, completing a decade of consecutive blood donation programmes. According to the company, the continued initiative reflects its commitment to making a positive contribution to the communities it serves and embedding social responsibility within its broader corporate values.

Rotary Colombo East supported the campaign by bringing its experience in community service and humanitarian initiatives to the programme. The collaboration also highlighted the important role that partnerships between businesses and service organisations can play in addressing pressing social needs.

Virakesari, which has served Sri Lankan readers since 1930, joined the initiative as the Print and Digital Media Partner, helping to raise wider public awareness of the campaign and promote the importance of voluntary blood donation.

Blood donations play a vital role in supporting emergency treatments, surgeries and other critical medical requirements. Through its annual campaign, Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery aims to encourage a stronger culture of voluntary blood donation while providing individuals with an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to society.

The company expressed its appreciation to Rotary Colombo East, Virakesari, donors, volunteers and all others who supported the successful completion of this year’s campaign. Having completed 10 consecutive years of the initiative, Wellawatta Nithyakalyani Jewellery said it looks forward to continuing community-focused programmes that promote compassion, volunteerism and collective social responsibility.
