Minor Hotels announces Colbert Collection launch in London
Minor Hotels, a leading global hotel owner and operator, has announced its first Colbert Collection property in the UK: The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, which will open in Q4 this year under the Colbert Collection brand. The launch marks a strategic milestone for the group as it enters one of the world’s key gateway cities.

The Colbert Collection, Minor Hotels’ new premium soft brand, will feature a global portfolio of independent hotels designed for travellers who value culinary excellence and authentic social experiences.

Located on Piccadilly in central London, the five-star property will feature 50 rooms and suites across six floors, along with a restaurant and bar. The building, formerly a NatWest bank and office space at the corner of Piccadilly and Albemarle Street, is being converted into a luxury hotel.

Originally designed in 1922–23 by Sir William Curtis Green, the Grade II listed structure is recognised for its classical architectural style. Its transformation into a hospitality venue reflects the wider regeneration of London’s West End, where historic buildings are being repurposed while preserving their heritage character.

The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London will strengthen Minor Hotels’ presence in the UK capital, offering both business and leisure travellers a prime central base. The property provides easy access to Hyde Park, Green Park, Buckingham Palace, Bond Street, Piccadilly Circus, and London’s theatre district, and is located just minutes from Green Park Underground station with direct connectivity to Heathrow Airport.

The project is owned by Royal Group of Companies Singapore, a global investor and developer with over 70 years of experience in hospitality and real estate. This London opening marks the group’s first hospitality venture in Europe.
