Kristall Spaces Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, an associate of the award-winning Austrian developer Kristall Group, has officially launched All-Suite Resort Talpe Heights, a 56-unit luxury oceanfront condominium development situated along Sri Lanka’s renowned ‘Golden Mile,’ adjacent to Dalawella Beach between Unawatuna and Talpe. The BOI-approved project offers fully furnished 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom freehold apartments, with prices starting from LKR 50 million for a one-bedroom unit, including parking.

The project comes amid a 16.7% year-on-year increase in tourism arrivals, reflecting rising demand for high-end serviced residences in prime coastal locations. Each apartment offers panoramic ocean views, fully equipped kitchens, and premium finishes. The development includes a private roof garden with a 25-meter sky pool, landscaped garden pool with an Italian bistro, a signature restaurant, and in-house spa facilities. Additional amenities include underground parking, 24-hour security, and concierge-style services. Upon completion, the property will be professionally managed by All-Suite Resorts, Kristall Group’s Austrian associate, ensuring European operational standards.

Investors can expect combined annual returns of 13–20% through capital appreciation and rental yields. The investment structure also enables eligibility for Sri Lanka’s ‘Golden Paradise’ long-term residence visas for qualified buyers.

Commuters Can Pay Bus Fares with Bank Cards Starting Today
The Ministry of Transport announced that, with effect from 25 January 2026, commuters can pay bus fares using bank-issued credit and debit cards on buses equipped with ticket-issuing machines.

The inaugural program was held this morning at the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Center, marking the official launch of the initiative.

The new system addresses a long-standing issue of passengers not receiving balance money after paying fares and represents a step forward in modernizing public transport payments.

This initiative, jointly launched by the Digital Ministry and the Ministry of Transport, will be implemented on approximately 20 bus routes during its first phase, with plans for further expansion to enhance convenience and efficiency for commuters nationwide.
