Motadata, a leading provider of Unified Observability and ServiceOps solutions, delivers an AI-powered platform that provides end-to-end visibility, control, and intelligence across complex IT environments. By integrating observability and service management into a single, unified stack, Motadata enables organizations to proactively optimize operations, minimize downtime, and better align IT performance with business objectives.

Strengthening this value proposition, Motadata has successfully supported the British School in Colombo in modernizing and streamlining its IT operations. The deployment of Motadata Unified Observability and ServiceOps was carried out in collaboration with Connex Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd and partner Microsolutions Information Systems Pvt Ltd.

The British School in Colombo, one of Sri Lanka’s leading international schools, delivers a digitally enriched learning environment supported by a mission-critical IT infrastructure. With technology playing a vital role across classrooms, learning platforms, administrative systems, and campus-wide operations, ensuring consistent performance and uninterrupted service availability is essential to daily operations.

As the school’s digital ecosystem expanded, its IT team faced growing operational complexity. Limited end-to-end visibility across infrastructure and applications, reactive incident management processes, and fragmented monitoring and service management tools made it difficult to quickly identify and resolve issues. In addition, the institution required actionable, data-driven insights to support future IT growth and transformation.

To address these challenges, Motadata’s AIOps and ServiceOps platform was implemented as a unified solution. Microsolutions Information Systems (Pvt) Ltd served as the systems integrator and implementation partner, ensuring seamless deployment and integration into the school’s existing IT environment with minimal disruption and rapid value realization.

Motadata Unified Observability provides real-time visibility across networks, servers, and applications, enhanced by AI-driven anomaly detection and predictive alerting. Unified dashboards offer a comprehensive view of IT health, while advanced analytics and capacity planning support proactive decision-making. Complementing this, Motadata ServiceOps centralizes incident, request, and problem management, automates ticket generation from monitoring events, and accelerates root-cause analysis through intelligent event correlation and structured ITIL-aligned workflows.
VentureTECH invests in Sri Lankan-founded cybersecurity firm DeltaSpike to bolster regional security operation
DeltaSpike, a Sri Lankan-founded cybersecurity technology company headquartered in Malaysia, has secured a strategic investment from VentureTECH, a Malaysian government-backed impact investment firm. This investment marks a significant milestone for the company as it enhances its technology platform and expands its cybersecurity operations across Southeast Asia and South Asia.

The funding will support the continued development of DeltaSpike’s intelligence-driven cybersecurity solutions and accelerate its regional growth strategy, enabling organisations to better defend against increasingly sophisticated and automated cyber threats.

Founded by Sri Lankan innovators and based in Malaysia, DeltaSpike represents a new generation of regional technology companies that bridge South Asian engineering expertise with Southeast Asia’s rapidly evolving digital infrastructure and enterprise ecosystem. Its regional presence allows the company to serve clients across multiple markets while maintaining strong technical capabilities rooted in both Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

The investment will accelerate the enhancement of DeltaSpike’s cybersecurity offerings, with a strong focus on AI and machine learning–driven detection engineering, expansion of Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services, strengthened Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) capabilities, and improved incident response operations. The company will also continue advancing the automation of core security workflows to improve efficiency and resilience. These developments are designed to deliver deeper threat visibility, enable faster and more accurate response to emerging risks, and support scalable, intelligence-led security operations for enterprises across the region.

DeltaSpike currently operates Security Operations Centres in Malaysia and Sri Lanka, supporting organisations across Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. This distributed delivery model enables continuous monitoring, advanced threat intelligence correlation, and rapid incident response across cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.

The investment will further strengthen the capabilities of DeltaSpike’s Security Operations Centres, enabling enhanced threat detection, faster investigation cycles, and improved cross-regional intelligence sharing between its operational hubs.

Shihan Annon, Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of DeltaSpike, said the investment reinforces the company’s long-term vision of building intelligent, adaptive security operations for the region.

“Cybersecurity today requires more than monitoring tools. It demands intelligent systems that can correlate signals, prioritise risks, and respond at speed. This strategic investment allows us to accelerate platform development while further strengthening our security operations capabilities across the region,” he said.
