ANC Campus has announced the launch of a formal articulation partnership with University of Adelaide at Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo, creating a structured progression pathway for Sri Lankan students aspiring to earn an Australian university degree.

Through this pathway, students can begin their higher education journey at ANC Campus in Sri Lanka and subsequently progress to the University of Adelaide in Australia, subject to meeting the required academic, English language, and entry criteria.

By completing the first year via ANC’s Australian Diploma pathway locally, students can significantly reduce the overall cost of studying abroad, with estimated first-year savings of up to LKR 13 million when tuition and living expenses are considered.

The launch event was attended by representatives from ANC Campus, the University of Adelaide, and the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), along with media personnel, students, parents, and invited guests. Austrade’s participation underscored the continued strength of Australia–Sri Lanka education ties. The University of Adelaide—Australia’s newly formed leading university following the merger of the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia—is ranked 82nd globally in the QS World University Rankings 2026.

Under this partnership, students who successfully complete ANC’s Australian Diploma programme will be eligible to enter the second year of selected undergraduate degrees at the University of Adelaide. The pathway includes disciplines such as Business, Engineering, Information Technology, and Science. Students may also qualify for merit-based scholarships, subject to university criteria.

ANC Campus confirmed that this marks the first formal Australian Diploma articulation pathway between a Sri Lankan institution and the University of Adelaide.

Commenting on the partnership, Dayan D. L. Fernando, Chief Executive Officer of ANC Campus, said the initiative provides Sri Lankan students with a credible and well-supported route into Australian higher education.

“For over two decades, ANC has partnered with international universities to help Sri Lankan students begin their global education journey with strong academic preparation and guidance. This partnership with the University of Adelaide offers a clearer pathway to an Australian degree and gives parents greater confidence in their children’s future,” he said.
